I fell in love with running in the early nineties when I was a freshman in high school and brand new to the sport. By listening, obeying, and trusting my coach (shoutout Coach Cutsforth!), and putting in hard work, I went on to have successful high school and cross country careers.
Unfortunately, I've also been hampered by my share of injuries and setbacks which I find to be a humbling process and can empathize with anyone who is starting over or new to the sport.
One thing that has remained the same all these years is the belief I have in myself. I enjoy a good challenge and like to tell my runners that if your goal doesn't slightly scare you, it's not big enough!
I've also discovered that running is not just a physical sport but so much about mental toughness and believe having a strong mindset with help get you through life's challenges.
A strong body is tough to beat. A strong mind is unstoppable.
CMG Running utilizes an online platform to write and schedule your workouts so you'll always know what you're doing each day.
If you own a Garmin watch you have the option of having your runs synced directly to your device.
A convenient app is available to show you all your workouts even when you're on the go.
The ability to have at home strength workouts to do on your own time or with a virtual meeting helps prevent injuries and setbacks.
